Kanye West compares himself to Adolf Hitler and Michael Jordan
I think it’s fair to say that Kanye is the most misunderstood artist in the music industry.
This speech is genius. He’s one of the few emcees out there who still has important things to say.
I’m sitting on tickets. They’re 115 ish each and plus some fee they come out to 117 and change. Expensive I know, but that’s not even the most expensive ticket.
Me and my cousin want to go because we are HUGE Jay Z and Kanye fans. HUGEEEE.
Well she said she could pay for her ticket (she has a kid and stuff so luckily it was in her budget) so I asked dad. I knew he was going to say no but I still feel super disappointed. I want to go so bad and I know I shouldn’t be spending money because I am a broke college kid. Well I’m not really broke but I shouldn’t be wasting money. Thing is I got birthday money left. How much? $120. I could do it. And I want to.
It’s become a Taylor Swift situation. When Taylor did the Fearless tour I wanted to go so bad but dad wouldn’t buy me tickets. Luckily my aunt bought tickets and I was able to go with one of my cousins. But the point is I wanted to go so bad. Honestly, I love Glee and all but I would’ve sold my Glee tickets to go to this concert. My two favorite rappers of all time. TOGETHER. I can’t contain myself.
So my dad’s all pissy and is like just do what you want. I don’t know if I should just buy the tickets and have him be pissed at me or not buy them and hope things work out. I’m not much of a rebel but he’s been pissing me off lately because he’s always in a pissy mood and takes it out on me.
Someone help me.

Some people are just haters, or simply don’t understand what Taylor Swift is all about. If a guys breaks her heart or hurts her in any way, she writes about it. That’s what makes her different. She’ll tell everyone just how she feels or felt when something happened in her songs.
So some people didn’t like the performance because they still think that she is not over last year’s incident. I disagree completely. I think the song was appropriate to sing at the VMA’s because of what happened. The lyrics to the song are kind of forgiving, at least in my eyes.
“It’s all right, just wait and see
Your streaming lights are still bright to me oh
Who you are is not what you’ve been

If it is not completely clear that she’s saying that people will get over the incident then you need to pay attention. I think as an artist she likes him or at least his music but as a person everyone knows Kanye is an a-hole.

Obviously, Kanye was 32 last year and this is the point where if you didn’t already know, the song is directed at Kanye. I think the overall message that Taylor Swift is sending is that “Kanye is a talented a-hole and a bit immature and I’m singing about it”

She’s over it and maybe she feels bad about the bad publicity that Kanye has gotten since. I don’t know but I truly believe that she is over last years VMAs and she proves that by singing the song.
And Kanye, did you really want her to sing “Let’s have a toast to the d-bags”? Hmm, try again. But I liked it when you sang it.
